It doesn’t matter what others tell you. Everyone has narcosis on deep dives. It’s just the more experienced divers feel that they can cope.
The TDI Trimix diver course will take you to 60 meters using trimix, or to a maximum of 75m with TDI Trimix 75. The training will focus on fine tuning the six fundamental skills of technical diving. This course is a challenge that will build your skills as a diver and also enable to go out and explore safely. It can be combined with the TDI Sidemount diver, TDI Extended Range course and the TDI Advanced Gas Blender course

TDI TRIMIX courses. Getting wet - all about your dives
The course standard is for four tech dives. At Frontier Scuba we prefer to teach the course as a seven dive course. We start with a review of your previous tech skills, to get you comfortable and back into the water. If you are already a twin tank diver why not combine with the TDI Sidemount course and learn a new skill
You will be making all dives with either twin tanks, or with sidemount tanks. You will also be using a two deco tanks of EAN50 and 100% O2. Back gas will be normoxic trimix for the four trimix dives. For Trimix Minimum 18% oxygen and a minimum of 25% helium. For trimix 75 the minimum PO2 is 0.16 with no minimum requirement for the helium
At this level of training it is 40% physical and 60% mental. Dives and skills that challenge you will help you to develop and improve your skills. By the end of the course we will work up to a max. of 60m on trimix

TDI Trimix Courses Schedule
Most divers can complete the TDI Trimix or Trimxi 75 course in four to five full days. If combined with TDI Sidemount or TDI Extended Range you will need a minimum of six days. We prefer to complete the classroom before you arrive with elearning and Zoom classes, so that the focus here is to apply the knowledge to real world dives.
More than anything this is a practical course. No one learned how to dive from reading a book ! Days are usually from 0800 to 1730 with a break for lunch
