With Sidemount diving you’ll be wearing one, two or more tanks on your side. This will take weight off your back, and reduce your profile so that you slide through the water.

 

We teach using top of the line XDeep wings as well as sidemount regulators. You can take the SDI Sidemount course if you are a recreational diver and would like to do with one or two tanks. If you are thinking of getting into tech diving, then the TDI Sidemount course uses three or more tanks and can be combined with other TDI tech course.

SDI Sidemount Diver Course

The SDI Sidemount diver courses introduce the recreational diver to sidemount diving. You can choose to dive with either one or two tanks.

The courses take just two days and you’ll have one pool and three great boat dives on Bohol’s amazing walls. Bring your camera you will have a chance to explore and take photos.

TDI Technical Sidemount Diver Course - Three days

  • A comprehensive sidemount class for technical divers or when combined with other tech courses
  • TDI eLearning - complete the study before you arrive
  • Practical set up sessions. You'll be given plenty of time to get used to the new sidemount gear.
  • Shallow skills dives to get comfortable with the sidemount gear, gearing up with three or four tanks and practice new skills
  • Pool plus three boat dives to practice skills and explore. If combined with a tech course you will be integrating both sets of skills into training dives. Get ready to be challenged and have fun!
