TDI courses for deeper, longer dives

Bohol is renowned for its tremendous wall dives and excellent visibility and is a great place to get your tech diver training. Frontier Tech has 25 years experience in training TDI technical divers and instructors.

For new tech divers we offer TDI sidemount diver, TDI Intro to Tech and TDI Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures, as well as great multi-course packages. For the more experienced technical diver choose from TDI Extended Range, Trimix, Trimix 75 and Advanced Trimix or Advanced Wreck

Our facility has technical rental gear, which is included in all basic tech courses. We also have a high capacity compressor, two gas boosters and high pressure oxygen and helium.

Whether you are new to diving, already a tech diver, a full time Pro we have the courses for you.

TDI Courses

All of our basic courses include full technical rental equipment, air, nitrox and oxygen fills as well as boat fees, environmental fees and either manual or e-learning. Wherever possible we prefer to conduct class online with zoom calls. This means that we can spend more time while you are here diving and working on practical skills.

All of our courses up to TDI extended range and TDI trimix include full technical rental equipment when required. For Advanced trimix courses we expect that all students have a full set of basic tech equipment. We can provide deco regulators at no extra charge

Learn to gas blend with either the TDI Nitrox Gas Blender course, the TDI Advanced [Trimix] Gas Blender course, or take the two courses in combination

TDI Technical Diver Courses

Wreck diving - Subic or Coron Bay

We do have a small wreck in Panglao. It’s about 12 meters long and we refuse to use it for training. Hey Guys a wreck has to be bigger than 12m right !

We therefore conduct all wreck training in either Subic Bay or Coron Bay. Course fees include diving and training, however the instructor’s travel expenses are not included and are shared amongst the group. Get ready to be amazed and challenged. The course stanbdard for advanced wreck is 100 minutes bottom time – we usually exceed 400 minutes for the course

2 days / 3 dives
Max. 30m with single, sidemount or twin tanks – no deco

TDI Oxygen (O2) Service Technician

This course will give you an in-depth, behind-the-scenes perspective on how equipment is cleaned and serviced

Can be combined with TDI Gas Blender

Course prerequisites:

Minimum age 18
Provide proof of the following:
- Certification as a TDI Nitrox Gas Blender or equivalent
- VIP certification through a recognized training agency*
- Certification through a recognized manufacturing company regulator clinic**
- Employment through a recognized scuba related facility, manufacturer/distributor or proof of intent to acquire such employment

*VIP certification may be offered in combination with this course

**Not required if training as TDI Cylinder O2 Service Technician only

SDI Air Fill Station Technician

This detailed course offers more than just the basics of air filling; it’s a comprehensive dive into the responsibilities and safety practices of an Air Fill Station Technician. You’ll emerge with a profound understanding of the main causes of accidents in air filling, the risks and hazards associated with compressed gas cylinders, and the safe operating principles that prevent them

SDI Equipment Specialist Diver

This course if for any certified diver looking to learn more about the scuba equipment they use on each dive as well as how to perform basic “in the field” repairs to prevent losing a dive due to an equipment malfunction

We offer the TDI Technical Divemaster rating for current technical divers who have already completed a recreational SDI Divemaster course [or equivalent from another agency]
